I’m excited to announce that Dino DiMarino joined Snyk as our first ever Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) earlier this month.

As we kick off the final quarter of 2021, I’m humbled to lead a company that continues to achieve extraordinary business milestones — from recent industry recognitions to our Series F funding to our largest ever SnykCon — to push the legacy cybersecurity industry to fully embrace the inevitability of developer security. Even more humbling and rewarding has been the opportunity to build a cohesive, collaborative team of leaders that embody Snyk’s core values day in and day out.

Dino is the most recent experienced leader to join our Leadership Team, and in our next pivotal growth phase, he will lead the entirety of our field go-to-market operations, including spearheading our rapid expansion into Asia Pacific Japan (APJ). With him at the helm, his distributed team will be singularly focused on our North Star: enlisting the entire global developer population — estimated to reach over 40 million by 2025 – in the quest to achieve a more secure world.

Originally from Canada, Dino joins us from Mimecast, another cybersecurity leader based in Greater Boston, most recently serving as their CRO. In his five years with the company, he oversaw a crucial stretch of impressive growth, scaling from $100 million to over $550 million in revenues. Prior to this impactful period with Mimecast, he was Vice President of Sales for the Americas at RSA, and held additional sales leadership roles at EMC, Dell Canada, and Xerox Canada.

From our first meeting, I’ve been confident that Dino and I are fully aligned in our vision for this new role. His passion for putting mission and team first, exceeding customer expectations and empowering regional teams to contribute to a global strategy, while effectively executing locally, has enabled him to deliver exceptional outcomes throughout his entire career. We’re fortunate to have Dino, and his significant security domain expertise, now on board, and I can’t wait to see what his team is able to achieve as we close out 2021 and beyond.

As noted above, Dino is one of several new leaders we’ve recently added to both our Leadership Team as well as our Board of Directors, following our hiring of Adriana Bokel Herde and the appointment of Tamar Yehoshua this summer. We also continue to look for diverse talent across every function, at every level, worldwide, including more than 30 open roles on Dino’s team. If you’re interested in joining the leader in developer security, please browse our open positions.

Join me in giving Dino a warm welcome to the Snyk family!
