Tiago developed Probely technology and business, mainly focused on improving its vulnerability detection capabilities. Before that, he worked for almost 12 years at Portugal Telecom, most of them in the web security team of SAPO, which he co-founded with another teammate. In those days, he tested site security, trained developers to code securely, provided security consultancy, and earned CPEs. Before SAPO, he spent a few years reverse-engineering traffic from proprietary applications and caring for a countrywide network of honeypots.
He's also a security researcher at Cobalt and a trainer at Citeforma, where he delivers courses on Linux and network security.
He holds a Master's in Information Technology/Information Security from Carnegie Mellon University and CISSP certification. He's also a frequent speaker at security events, such as Codebits, Just4Meeting, ISEL Tech, Confraria da Segurança da Informação, and, recently, the BSides Lisbon conference.
