Snyk Trademark Use Guidelines
Welcome to the Snyk Trademark Use Guidelines (“Guidelines”). These Guidelines are designed to help you use Snyk's trademarks and branding elements, including our name, logo, and other assets (“Snyk Trademarks”), correctly and consistently. By following these Guidelines, you'll help ensure that our brand remains strong, recognizable, and protected. Compliance with these Guidelines is required at all times and any use of the Snyk Trademarks in violation of these Guidelines will automatically terminate any license related to your use of the Snyk Trademarks.
1. Trademark Basics
The Snyk Trademarks are valuable assets that represent our company and products. Always use them properly and in accordance with these Guidelines. Only use Snyk Trademarks to refer to Snyk's products, services, and official communications.
2. Logo Usage
Our logo is a key part of our brand identity. Please use the official Snyk logo provided in our press kit and do not alter its design, proportions, font, or colors. Ensure that there is adequate space around the logo to maintain its visibility and impact.
3. Use of Snyk Name
When referring to our company, products, or services, always use the full and correct spelling of "Snyk." Do not modify the spelling, capitalize incorrectly, or abbreviate the name in a way that may cause confusion.
4. Attribution
When using Snyk Trademarks, always include a clear attribution stating that the marks are owned by Snyk Ltd. For example: "Snyk and the Snyk logo are trademarks owned by Snyk Ltd." Ensure that the attribution is placed in a clear and conspicuous location.
5. Prohibited Uses
Do not use or incorporate Snyk Trademarks in the following way:
in a way that may imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with third-party products or services;
in a manner that is misleading, unfair, defamatory, infringing, libelous, disparaging, obscene or otherwise objectionable to Snyk;
adopt marks, logos, slogans, or designs that are confusingly similar to Snyk Trademarks.
into your own company name, product names, domain names, or social media handles;
as the most prominent element on your web page;
in a way that imitates Snyk Trademarks or visual identity;
remove distort or alter any element of a Snyk Trademarks;
on merchandise (such as shirts, mugs, posters); and
in contests, sweepstakes, giveaways etc.
in connection with any illegal activities, or in a manner that violates applicable
laws or regulations
6. Approval Process
If you have any questions about the proper use of Snyk Trademarks or need approval for specific use cases (such as sponsorships and partnerships), please contact our legal team at brand@snyk.io and provide a detailed description of your intended use, including any visual representations if applicable.
7. Ownership
You acknowledge that all rights to the Snyk Trademarks are the exclusive property of Snyk, and all goodwill generated through your use of the Snyk Trademarks will inure solely to the benefit of Snyk. You will not take any action that conflicts with Snyk’s rights in, or ownership of, the Snyk Trademarks.
8. Enforcement
Snyk reserves the right to take appropriate legal action to protect the Snyk Trademarks from unauthorized or improper use.
9. Compliance Statement
By using Snyk Trademarks, you agree to comply with these Guidelines. Snyk reserves the right to update these Guidelines periodically. Please check for updates regularly.
