The Snyk team is headed out to RSA 2020 this week to meet with customers, partners and prospects (come see us at booth #2162!), and we are excited to announce our new strategic partnership withRapid7, a leader in security analytics and automation.

Rapid7 is our newest new Snyk Intel Partner, partnering with us to deliver end-to-end application security to organizations developing cloud native applications. Rapid7 recognizes that its customers are increasingly adopting new technologies such as containers and Kubernetes and therefore, modern enterprise organizations need to adapt and embrace a more integrated approach to application and infrastructure security.

In today’s announcement, Cindy Stanton, vice president, vulnerability and risk management at Rapid7 said she is “excited to integrate Snyk’s vulnerability intelligence into our Insight Cloud products. Through this partnership, Rapid7 and Snyk are helping our customers to create a workflow that brings developers closer to security and enables IT teams to fix vulnerabilities fast and early, at scale.”

The Rapid7 and Snyk partnership provides security teams with end-to-end modern application security capabilities, starting by securing application development with Snyk through to continuous application security testing, monitoring, and protection with Rapid7.

By adding the Snyk vulnerability database to its Insight Cloud solutions, Rapid7 customers will have enhanced  vulnerability visibility and analysis across the Rapid7 portfolio, while also having access to automatically fix vulnerabilities early and often.

This week at RSA, Snyk (South Hall booth #2162) and Rapid7 (North Hall booth #5565) will be showcasing the partnership:

  • Join Snyk and Rapid7 at the Rapid7 booth where Snyk AppSec expertAlyssa Miller,  will co-present with the Rapid7 team on Tuesday, Feb 25 at 2:00 pm PT and Wednesday, Feb 26 at 1:30 pm PT.

  • Join Snyk co-founder Guy Podjarny and  Rapid7’s senior director of engineering, Boris Chen, for a fireside chat on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 1:30 pm PT at the Press Club SF, 20 Yerba Buena Lane. This is a free event open to all RSA attendees.
