0 minutos de leituraWe continue to expand our relationship with Amazon Web Services and are excited to announce we’ve earned the Amazon Linux 2 Ready designation, as part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Service Ready Program.
This designation recognizes that Snyk is certified to run on Amazon Linux 2, the next generation of Amazon Linux, a Linux server operating system from AWS.
Achieving the Amazon Linux 2 Ready designation differentiates Snyk as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member with a product that is endorsed for Amazon Linux 2 and is fully supported for AWS customers. Amazon Linux 2 provides a secure, stable, and high-performance execution environment to develop and run cloud and enterprise applications. Amazon Linux 2 is provided at no additional charge.
AWS Service Ready Partners have demonstrated success in building products integrated with AWS services, helping AWS customers evaluate and use their technology productively, at scale and varying levels of complexity.
Following soon after announcing AWS DevOps Competency and availability on the AWS Marketplace, Snyk continues to closely partner with AWS. As a developer-first company, Snyk helps AWS customers enable developers to embed security earlier in the software development lifecycle. Snyk manages and monitors vulnerabilities ongoing and is an excellent complement to a secure, stable and high-performing Linux environment.
Snyk secures development across the AWS ecosystem. Snyk Open Source automatically and continuously finds and fixes application vulnerabilities in source control and function repositories, enabling developers to securely use open source with AWS services such as Amazon EC2 and AWS Lambda while accelerating the delivery of cloud-native applications.
FormHero, which uses Snyk and AWS to secure data collection applications, runs a platform with a microservices architecture deployed through Docker containers in Amazon ECS (Amazon EC2 Container Service).
Ryan Kimber, Founder and CEO of FormHero said: "If you aren't addressing problems during the developer workflow and you're finding them and dealing with them in QA, it will take you 10 times longer to fix," said Kimber. “That’s where Snyk comes in."
