Snyk is excited to be a Strategic Sponsor for Atlassian Team ‘22, April 5–7 in Las Vegas, as one of only a few sponsors engaged at the highest level. Team ‘22 is the ultimate connector event for business leaders, technology innovators, and visionary thinkers involved in agile and DevOps — or DevSecOps in our case. Snyk is excited to participate in this year’s event as we aim to expand conversations and collaboration around cloud security among the ever-growing Atlassian + Snyk user base.

Attendees in Las Vegas will gain insight into our increasing investment in the partnership, with a preview of new Snyk functionality we’re adding to Bitbucket Cloud and Jira this year. We’ve built a cross-functional team of 25+ Snykers across engineering, R&D, PLG, market education, and customer success to deliver an optimal developer security experience. We’re focused on enhancing support for enterprise customers with multiple business units — all of which leads to a vastly improved security posture.

As a security innovator with a shared focus on making cloud application development easier for developers, Atlassian continues to strengthen the ties that bind our companies together. Atlassian is not only a key strategic partner and investor, but also a Snyk customer. Together, we are re-imagining how organizations implement security.

Factoring in security for continued success

Developer security has become a non-negotiable business requirement and a competitive differentiator. Quick-to-market, scalable, cloud-enabled digital opportunities accelerate growth,  but they also expose the business to the potential for vulnerabilities and data breaches – a reality that continues to set new annual records.

Where agile DevOps practices enable scale, they also increase design, implementation, and deployment complexities that can be compromised by bad actors and lead to revenue loss, a top concern for most security executives.

"Business, engineering, and security teams cannot afford to be at odds with each other. To survive in the agile world of cloud native DevOps, organizations must understand, embrace, implement, and essentially live a security-first, privacy-first, compliance-first culture. Atlassian and Snyk are equally committed to helping businesses embrace this mindset to develop fast and securely."

Snyk’s native integrations with multiple Atlassian products enhance the workflows and pipelines of global DevSecOps teams. Together, Atlassian and Snyk are leading the charge, empowering engineers to design and develop software with security in mind at the start and throughout the SDLC — rather than as an afterthought.

With Snyk and Bitbucket Cloud, developers can find, prioritize, and fix security vulnerabilities in open source dependencies and container images throughout the entire development workflow — all without leaving Bitbucket Cloud.
