LesezeitWe are thrilled to announce that Snyk has closed $150 million in funding to accelerate our vision to bring anew approach to application security, enabling businesses to continuously build security into their application development process and culture. With this investment, we have partnered with Stripes, along with Coatue, Tiger Global, BoldStart, Trend Forward, Amity and Salesforce Ventures, to build on our 2019 momentum and continue to fuel our developer-first approach to security. This new funding helps us achieve even faster product innovation, deeper expansion into EMEA and APJ, and broader, impactful support of the DevSecOps community. We want to extend a big thank you to our users, our customers and our partners around the world in helping us reach this exciting milestone!
In this age of software-driven everything, DevOps and cloud, the responsibility of security needs to expand — from a siloed approach with a singular security team to a broader, more integrated approach that drives shared ownership between the security, ops and development teams. (Hear more from our founder and President Guy Podjarny about the key changes that take place during Digital Transformation and why scaling security now is so important.)
At Snyk we are laser-focused on offering a developer-first approach to security. We enable security to scale and development teams to become self-sufficient, as they already are with other aspects of DevOps, easily embedding security into their continuous development process and tools. They no longer have to wait for anyone to give them the green light to keep moving fast. Developer-first security supports and integrates into the technologies that cloud application developers prefer, prioritizing the developer experience and overall business efficiency.
When I meet with leaders of modern enterprise businesses, the discussion always turns to the changes that every organization is facing as they must adjust their approach to cybersecurity. They recognize and see Snyk as a central part of that strategy
We are excited about what lies ahead for Snyk and how developer-first security can support and accelerate modern application security teams. We look forward to continuing to support our amazing customers, partners, and the developer community as we pursue a new and better approach to building secure software.
We are always looking for great people to join our team so take a look at our open positions! Hear more about this announcement in this recent interview with The Cube.
