electron is a framework which lets you write cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read. It allows arbitrary local file read by defining unsafe window options on a child window opened via window.open.

Remediation

Upgrade electron to version 7.2.4, 8.2.4 or higher.
