How to play
Scan the QR code and register with an email address and alias.
Submit the open source projects you'd like to work on in your projects tab.
Fix vulns and score points!
(1) Get registered
All you need is an email address and alias for the event.
There’s no password, and we won’t store your email address anywhere.
The alias you enter will appear on the leaderboard, with your score, for the event.
If you've competed at a previous conference and are already registered - don't worry - just enter the same information here again.
(2) Submit your projects
Provide the Github info for your chosen open source projects in the Projects tab of your Snyk profile.
Make sure you choose a public repo that you have write permissions on in order to score points.
Wait until you see your repo on the projects tab to start fixing vulnerabilities — or you’ll lose out on potential points.
You can import a max of 10 projects.
Only the first 50 sub-projects for each imported project count towards scoring.
(3) Start fixing vulnerabilities
Ready, set, go! Start fixing vulnerabilities in the repos you've registered to rack up points on the leaderboard.
You can always come back and submit more repos — just remember the cap is 10.
It may take up to 10 minutes for updated scores to show on the leaderboard, so don’t panic if your score isn’t updated immediately. If you have any questions or concerns during the challenge, please reach out.
