How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:11 gdk-pixbuf to version 2.42.2+dfsg-1+deb11u1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream gdk-pixbuf package and not the gdk-pixbuf package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:11 relevant fixed versions and status.

GNOME GdkPixbuf (aka GDK-PixBuf) before 2.42.8 allows a heap-based buffer overflow when compositing or clearing frames in GIF files, as demonstrated by io-gif-animation.c composite_frame. This overflow is controllable and could be abused for code execution, especially on 32-bit systems.
