CVE-2009-1358 Open this link in a new tabHow to fix?
Upgrade Debian:10
apt
to version 0.7.21 or higher.
NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream apt
package and not the apt
package as distributed by Debian
.
See How to fix?
for Debian:10
relevant fixed versions and status.
apt-get in apt before 0.7.21 does not check for the correct error code from gpgv, which causes apt to treat a repository as valid even when it has been signed with a key that has been revoked or expired, which might allow remote attackers to trick apt into installing malicious repositories.
