Upgrade Amazon-Linux:2018.03 curl to version 0:7.53.1-16.86.amzn1 or higher.
This issue was patched in ALAS-2019-1148.

Curl versions 7.33.0 through 7.61.1 are vulnerable to a buffer overrun in the SASL authentication code that may lead to denial of service.
