How to fix?

Upgrade Amazon-Linux:2 file-libs to version 0:5.11-35.amzn2.0.2 or higher.
This issue was patched in ALAS2-2019-1370.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream file-libs package and not the file-libs package as distributed by Amazon-Linux. See How to fix? for Amazon-Linux:2 relevant fixed versions and status.

cdf_read_property_info in cdf.c in file through 5.37 does not restrict the number of CDF_VECTOR elements, which allows a heap-based buffer overflow (4-byte out-of-bounds write).
