Introduced through: @frontmcp/source@agentfront/frontmcp › @huggingface/transformers@3.8.1 › sharp@0.34.5Remediation: Upgrade to @huggingface/transformers@4.3.0.
Overview
sharp is a High performance Node.js image processing, the fastest module to resize JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF and TIFF images
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the VipsForeignLoadHeif process. An attacker can execute arbitrary code by providing specially crafted AVIF images as input.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by blocking the decoding of AVIF images using the configuration sharp.block({ operation: ["VipsForeignLoadHeif"] }); and by ensuring the Node.js executable is compiled as a Position Independent Executable (PIE).
Remediation
Upgrade sharp to version 0.35.4 or higher.

Overview
sharp is a High performance Node.js image processing, the fastest module to resize JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF and TIFF images
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in entity_insert() and the entity map held on XmlState, which is shared between the outer parse and a recursive XInclude, so inserting an entity whose name already exists replaces the first entry and its Drop implementation calls xmlFreeNode() while the outer xmlCtxtParseEntity() is still using that 144 byte xmlEntity. An attacker can corrupt process memory by supplying an SVG document whose xi:include pulls in another document redefining an entity that is already active. This requires the application to parse attacker supplied SVG with XInclude processing reached, and the entity names must collide across the outer document and the included one.
Remediation
Upgrade sharp to version 0.35.5 or higher.

Detailed paths
-
Introduced through: @frontmcp/source@agentfront/frontmcp › @modelcontextprotocol/sdk@1.29.0Remediation: Upgrade to @modelcontextprotocol/sdk@1.31.0.
Overview
@modelcontextprotocol/sdk is a Model Context Protocol implementation for TypeScript
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insufficiently Protected Credentials via the fetchToken and discardIfIssuerMismatch functions in the OAuth client authentication flow, where the SEP-2352 issuer check is not applied consistently. An attacker controlling a malicious authorization server can cause the client to send OAuth client credentials (client information) to an unintended server, because the issuer stamp on stored credentials is not validated before the token request is dispatched. This allows an attacker to harvest client credentials by redirecting token requests to a server whose issuer does not match the one the credentials were originally registered with.
Remediation
Upgrade @modelcontextprotocol/sdk to version 1.31.0 or higher.

Detailed paths
-
Introduced through: @frontmcp/source@agentfront/frontmcp › ioredis@5.11.1Remediation: Upgrade to ioredis@6.0.0.
Overview
ioredis is a Redis client for Node.js.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Recursion in the RESP protocol parser in lib/parser.js. An attacker can crash the Node.js client process by sending crafted RESP byte streams with repeated nested array headers. The parser recurses while handling nested arrays, exhausting the V8 call stack and triggering an uncaught RangeError. In affected deployments that consume data from a malicious or compromised Redis endpoint, this terminates the process and disrupts Redis client operations.
Remediation
Upgrade ioredis to version 6.0.0-beta.1 or higher.

Overview
zod is a TypeScript-first schema declaration and validation library with static type inference
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling via the handleArrayResult parse logic in $ZodArray, which accumulates every validation issue for each failing element in a large array with no cap or early termination. An attacker can submit a large array to an application using an array schema without a length constraint, causing the process to allocate excessive issue objects and crash due to out-of-memory conditions.
Remediation
There is no fixed version for zod.

Introduced through: @frontmcp/source@agentfront/frontmcp › @huggingface/transformers@3.8.1 › sharp@0.34.5Remediation: Upgrade to @huggingface/transformers@4.3.0.
Overview
sharp is a High performance Node.js image processing, the fastest module to resize JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF and TIFF images
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the bundled libvips TIFF loader (VipsForeignLoadTiff), which can miscount the channels of a tile encoded as JPEG or JPEG2000 within a TIFF image. An attacker can corrupt heap memory and crash the process, with a possibility of code execution, by supplying a TIFF whose JPEG or JPEG2000 tiles cause the channel count to be misdetermined and the buffer undersized. Exploitation requires the application to decode an untrusted TIFF with JPEG or JPEG2000 tiles through sharp.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be avoided by blocking the TIFF loader through sharp's block() for the VipsForeignLoadTiff operation, or by setting the VIPS_BLOCK_UNTRUSTED environment variable, so untrusted TIFF images are not decoded.
Remediation
Upgrade sharp to version 0.35.0 or higher.

Overview
sharp is a High performance Node.js image processing, the fastest module to resize JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF and TIFF images
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Overflow leading to a heap buffer overflow in the bundled libvips VIPS loader (VipsForeignLoadVips), which can miscompute image dimensions. An attacker can corrupt heap memory and crash the process, with a possibility of code execution, by supplying a VIPS (.vips) image whose dimensions overflow the size calculation. Exploitation requires the application to decode an untrusted VIPS image through sharp.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be avoided by blocking the VIPS loader through sharp's block() for the VipsForeignLoadVips operation, or by setting the VIPS_BLOCK_UNTRUSTED environment variable, so untrusted VIPS images are not decoded.
Remediation
Upgrade sharp to version 0.35.0 or higher.

Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input via unbounded precision specifiers passed without validation to the toFixed, toExponential, and toPrecision methods. An attacker who controls a format string can inject precision values exceeding ECMAScript limits, causing uncaught RangeError exceptions that abort the calling operation.
Remediation
There is no fixed version for sprintf-js.

Overview
sharp is a High performance Node.js image processing, the fastest module to resize JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF and TIFF images
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read and null pointer dereference in the bundled libvips EXIF decoder, which does not validate the range of EXIF tag groups before passing them to libexif. An attacker can crash the process by supplying an image whose embedded EXIF metadata carries an out-of-range tag group. Exploitation requires the application to process an untrusted image whose EXIF metadata sharp reads.
Remediation
Upgrade sharp to version 0.35.0 or higher.
