Upgrade ansible to version 1.2.1 or higher.

Overview

ansible is a simple IT automation system.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure. The aws_ssm connection plugin uses s3 buckets to transfer files to instances. These files remain in the bucket after the play has completed and are never removed.

This vulnerability is only exploitable when using v1.2.0 and below of the aws_ssm connection plugin.
