Upgrade Debian:unstable
fort-validator
to version 1.5.2-1 or higher.
NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream fort-validator
package and not the fort-validator
package as distributed by Debian
.
See How to fix?
for Debian:unstable
relevant fixed versions and status.
FORT Validator versions prior to 1.5.2 will crash if an RPKI CA publishes an X.509 EE certificate. This will lead to RTR clients such as BGP routers to lose access to the RPKI VRP data set, effectively disabling Route Origin Validation.
