Upgrade Debian:10
util-linux
to version 2.13-8 or higher.
NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream util-linux
package and not the util-linux
package as distributed by Debian
.
See How to fix?
for Debian:10
relevant fixed versions and status.
mount and umount in util-linux and loop-aes-utils call the setuid and setgid functions in the wrong order and do not check the return values, which might allow attackers to gain privileges via helpers such as mount.nfs.
